Well, it's been one heckuva weekend.
Disc golf over in Winchester wasn't too bad. It takes about a half-hour to get there (which was about like driving from my house to Johnson Road Park back home). Another similarity - it's only a 9-hole course. The course was ok - better than nothing. I think some park employee just went out there one day with some holes and concrete slabs and let them stay were they fell, which seems to be the extent of their course planning. Also, someone or something very large doesn't like hole 6; it looks like that shark cage afer Jaws attacked Richard Dreyfuss. Jeff and I both resolved to drive further for a better course next time.
Our next disc golf adventure should be in Hunstville, with Hank Pitts. We're hoping he can sneak us on to the Army Base were he works (and Jeff used to work). Playing disc golf, and sticking it to the man - what a combination. Before you know it I'll be playing the bongos and wearing lots of tie-dye.
Other than disc golfing and eating, the only other thing that I did this weekend was lots and lots of math homework. I'm still not quite done, but I'm tired of looking at it. There is a ton of it, I'm out of practice, and its some stuff I was never very good at. Vector multiplication identities, 5th order determinants, inverse matrices - ack. And did I mention there was a bunch of it?
I've been seeing the ads for the new Dominos brownies that you get for free, with a midget in a brownie suit named "Fudgems." The commercials are kinda creepy.
